Cummins Funnel Fuel Filters are heavy-duty, fast-flow, filter-in funnels designed to separate free water and contaminants from gasoline, diesel, heating oil, and kerosene, ensuring clean fuel for reliable engine operation. Ideal for diesel generator sets, earthmovers, excavators, and off-highway equipment.

How It Works:

The funnel contains a DuPont Teflon® PTFE-coated stainless steel screen that separates free water and contaminants from fuel. Water, being heavier than fuel, settles at the bottom and can be safely disposed of.

Benefits:

Ensures clean, dry fuel for better combustion efficiency, engine reliability, and reduced risk of shutdowns or system failures.

Important Notes:

  • Does not remove emulsified water; use a standard fuel filter/water separator for that purpose.
  • Avoid overfilling; stop fueling if water exceeds one-third of the funnel.
  • Additives or 2-cycle oils should be added after fuel filtering.
  • Designed for fuels only; other liquids may compromise effectiveness.
  • Regularly inspect for damage and properly dispose of collected water and contaminants.
