Our Journey: Building a Legacy

1980

Madurai Diesel Sales

Our story begins in 1980, when Madurai Diesel Sales & Service was established as an authorised dealer for Cummins India Ltd, serving the districts of Madurai, Dindigul, and Theni. Built on a foundation of technical expertise and an uncompromising commitment to after-sales service, Madurai Diesel quickly earned a reputation as the most dependable power solutions partner in the region. As that trust grew, so did our footprint, and between 1995 and 2005, Cummins India Ltd entrusted us with dealerships across Trichy, Ariyalur, Pudukottai, Karur, and Perambalur.

1995 - 2008

The KJ Diesels Era

In 2009, Madurai Diesel joined hands with K.J. Diesels — another Cummins authorised dealer operating across Salem, Namakkal, Krishnagiri, and Dharmapuri — to form JN Machineries Private Ltd, headquartered in Madurai. The merger created a stronger, unified platform to serve a wider region with the same standards that had defined Madurai Diesel from the start.

2009 - 2019

Multi-State Expansion

The years that followed brought rapid and purposeful growth. Through 2009 to 2019, we extended our Cummins service network across Tamil Nadu. During this period we also added two new business divisions: ACE Material Handling in 2015 and Hyundai Construction Equipment in 2017, broadening our offering beyond power generation. In 2020 we expanded into Chennai, Pondicherry, and Vellore, and in 2024 added Coimbatore, Hosur, Erode, Tirupur, and Ooty — bringing our presence to over 30 districts across Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

2020- Now

Strategic Expansion

Today, JN Machineries operates across three focused divisions — Cummins Power Solutions, ACE Material Handling, and Hyundai Construction Equipment — offering customers a single, trusted partner for their power, material handling, and construction needs. Four decades on, our founding belief remains unchanged: reliable service and lasting partnerships are not just values we speak of - they are the foundation on which we, and our customers, are built.
