Periodic General service enhances the life of Alternator, reducing Alternator failures arising from Bearing, diodes which intern leads to winding/core failure and long downtime of Genset.
Rectifier Kit (RSK)-Diodes and Varistor of Rotating Rectifier Assembly are designed and manufactured to the specifications required. The ratings of Diode and Varistor depend on the various design and application parameters of the generator considering the various load factors.
Bearings are designed and manufactured to the specifications required as per the operating speed, load, operating temperature & lubrication requirements.
Sealed ball bearings are used in all Single Bearing Stamford models and double bearing models up to HC6.
It is recommended to change the Rectifier Kit and Bearing every 5 years of alternator operation.
